
The Philippines is one of the countries always visited by typhoons. Last November of 2013, Typhoon Yolanda with the international name (Typhoon Haiyan) hit the country specifically in the Western Visayas Region. Many properties were damaged and devastated by the said Typhoon including the lives of many Filipino people.

Despite the crisis the Filipino people remain strong and they were able to get back on their feet again. Different countries from all over the world expressed their sympathy and provide financial assistance to the Philippines. Recently, another strong typhoon passed the Philippine area of responsibility with the name "Glenda". It is considered also as one of the devastating typhoon due to its effect after hitting Luzon. The typhoon causes destruction of properties, power interruption and flood.
